Paul Lightcap, a full-time grad student seeking his MLIS at USF, has been a part-time technical services coordinator in the Acquisitions Department at the University of Florida Libraries through the 2010-2011 school year. After years of working as a full-time paraprofessional at UF, he decided to take the plunge and (finally) take the next necessary step toward becoming a bona fide Librarian, (although the reveal may be delayed, since he has just accepted another paraprofessional position that will start during the Summer 2011 term, at Duke University).  In addition to enjoying the footloose and fancy-free life of an itinerant student of Library and Information Science, he’s crazy about music, bikes, critical theory, and great shoes.
